Rye Youth Council welcomes new board members
RYC is please to welcome six new members of our board:
Bobbi Cavicchio has lived in Rye since 2001 and she and her husband, Rob have twins, seventh graders at Rye Middle School. Bobbi has been actively involved in the community as a Chair and member of various Milton school committees - Fair Volunteer, Directory Membership, Book Fair, and Fifth Grade Play. She is also a member of the Women’s Club/Children’s Philanthropy of Rye. Bobbi has worked as a real estate agent, television commercial producer and film producer. Bobbi holds a B.A. in Sociology from Cedar Crest College. |

Lisa Faries and her husband Peter moved to Rye in 2000. They have three children, sophomore at Rye High School and sixth and seventh graders at Rye Middle School. Lisa has supported the RCSD and Rye community through her leadership efforts as Secretary of Rye Middle School PO, Excellence Committee Representative for 7th grade a RMS, Co-Chair of the RMS Faculty and Staff Appreciation committee, and numerous PTO positions for Milton School. She is also a Board member of the Woman’s Club/Children’s Philanthropy of Rye, where she co-chairs the Public Relations Committee. Lisa is the Senior Director, Consumer Integrated Marketing for WebMD Health. |
Mary Hale has lived in Rye with her husband and four boys, Rye High School sophomore, freshman, Rye Middle School 6th grader and Midland 4th grader, for 22 years. She has served as a Resurrection PREP teacher for 3 years, on the Midland/RMS/RHS Caring Committee, Class Parent and Art Docent, works with Rye Little League on sponsorships, St. Vincent’s Hospital Spring Sprint Committee and as a Board Member of the Women’s Club/Chidren’s Philanthropy. She holds a BBA in accounting from Saint Bonaventure University and worked as a Corporate Controller for the Hard Rock Café.
Christa Liddy has lived in Rye since 2008, with her husband and three daughters, ages 12, 14 and 16. Christa has been active in the school Pos and is currently on the board of the Rye Newcomers Club. She is a member of the Rye Women’s Club and will co-chair the rug sale next fall. She has previously served on the fundraising committee for the Montreal Association for the Blind, and on the Board of the Batshaw Youth and Family Centres. She has a BASc from University of Waterloo, and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. She has worked in both the engineering and bankng fields |

Kristin Jautz moved to Rye in 2002 after having lived in Germany and England. She and her husband Ken have a seventh grader at Rye Middle School and a 4th grader at Osborn School. Kristin has been active in the Rye Presbyterian Church as an Elder, Stephen Leader and co-president of the Women’s Association. Most recently she chaired the 2010 RPC Stewardship campaign. She has also served as a class parent and art docent at Osborn school. She was a producer for CNN and traveled around the world covering events such as the Gulf War, collapse of the Soviet Union and ethnic strife in Rwanda, and while in London worked for the Associated Press.
Pam Smith and her family returned to Rye in 2005, after spending four years in Chicago. Pam was a member of the 37th TWIG and served on the TWIG Executive Board. She recently served as Milton School PTO co-President and has been an active volunteer at both the middle school and high school. Pam grew up in Chappaqua and graduated from Kenyon College. She spent many years working in advertising and marketing. Currently, she is a Sales Agent at Julia B. Fee/Sotheby’s in Rye. |
