Biography
Stephanie has worked for the Rye Youth Council as the Elementary School Youth Advocate for more than 19 years. Stephanie has a particular interest in assisting schools and communities in creating welcoming environments for all, which includes tackling issues of teasing, exclusion, bullying, prejudice and discrimination in the classroom and in workshops. Stephanie has also been trained by the National Coalition Building Institute in learning to address intergroup and intragroup conflict as well as the issues listed above. She is the director of the New York Chapter of NCBI and sits on the international board of directors. Stephanie has a Masters degree in special education from Columbia University Teachers College.
